About this event

This class is designed for Intermediate to Advanced tap dancers with a strong understanding of rhythm subdivisions, time signatures, and swing vs straight groove. Dancers should be comfortable picking up intricate footwork with minimal breakdown and making quick adjustments in weight placement and technique. Phrases are longer and taught at a brisk pace, with a continued emphasis on musicality, timing, and expressive clarity. While improvisation experience is helpful, it’s not required—“trick steps” may be offered as optional progressions.
