About this event
How can GenAI support learning and course preparation without replacing the human elements that matter most in teaching? Inspired by the new book, The Science of Learning Meets AI by Lewis Ludwig and Todd Zakrajsek, this interactive workshop invites faculty to explore practical ways AI can support evidence-based teaching, learning, and assignment design. Working in pairs and using your laptops, we will experiment with AI activities from the book and discuss how learning science principles can inform thoughtful AI use in your teaching. Come ready to explore, collaborate, and leave with new ideas to try. This is a brown bag lunch event. Coffee and Tea will be available.
