Dance for Musical Theater

About this event

This class welcomes students of all levels, though we do recommend some previous exposure to jazz or ballet. Explore the world of musical theater dance through choreography conceived and created by performer Carissa Bellando! Each week features a new number inspired by a specific musical theater show. Class will begin with a musical theater-style jazz warm-up, followed by progressions across the floor to familiarize your body with the movements, style of the show, and choreography for that day's class. Choreography will be tailored to the students in each class.
