Today's dangerous wind chill and below-zero temperatures are prompting Vermont Health Department officials to warn residents about frostbite risks, with Titus Mountain closing for the weekend to keep visitors safe.
Those with ski reservations will be refunded or able to reschedule, officials said.

Vermont women's basketball point guard Catherine Gilwee was ruled out for the season on Jan.
23 due to a left foot injury and is seeking a medical redshirt to preserve her eligibility; the Catamounts (tied atop America East) continue their strong campaign.
