Good morning, Burlington.

Burlington embraces maple season today as Church Street hosts the second annual Maple Madness with a bingo-style scavenger hunt, syrup tastings, and pancake dipping while sugarhouses statewide open for Maple Open House Weekend to show visitors the syrup-making process.

Local sugarmakers are adapting to changing weather as maple season continues, with sap still flowing despite irregular conditions.

The annual Sugar on Snow Supper on March 7 at Broad Brook Community Center in Guilford showcased a time-honored community fundraiser for the Grange.

Vermont women's basketball played against Louisville in the first round of March Madness on March 21, trailing by four points at halftime.

Louisville pulled away in the third quarter with a 72-52 win, ending Vermont's 2025-26 season.
