- ➤ Breeze Airways launched seasonal nonstop flights from Burlington to Charleston, South Carolina on May 30— the service will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays with fares starting at $59 one way. This new route is the carrier’s fifth nonstop destination from Burlington. VermontBiz
- ➤ Essential Vermont Malt Whiskey from Switchback Brewing Co. won a gold medal at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition—an event that drew over 5,000 entries. - ➤ The family of Burlington native Madelyn Linsenmeir settled a wrongful death lawsuit with Massachusetts authorities this week, receiving $1.5 million — $900,000 from the City of Springfield and $600,000 from the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, with part held in trust for her 3-year-old son and a mandate for improved custody care after she died in custody.
