- ➤ South Burlington received $700,000 from the EPA when Rep. Becca Balint announced Tuesday that the Bartlett Bay wastewater plant will be improved. The city will replace old fossil-fuel systems with efficient heat pump units—cutting energy use and helping to keep wastewater rates low during a 1- to 3-year upgrade. VermontBiz
- ➤ Burlington City Council approved a $107.1 million budget for fiscal year 2026 that closed a $9.8 million gap by raising taxes and cutting staff.
