- ➤ The exhibition 'Peace Signs of Vermont: The Visual Legacy of the Back-to-the-Land Movement' is at Karma Bird House at 47 Maple Street in Burlington and runs Monday-Saturday through the end of August, showing art by Charlotte resident Shawn Dumont and his children (Zoë and Jasper) that tells the story of the back-to-the-land movement. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Today, Burlington unveiled a 360-foot visual art installation covering the fence at Memorial Auditorium to freshen the downtown gateway while ongoing construction projects reshape the area. A recent report shows Chittenden County drives Vermont’s jobs and income through investments such as GlobalFoundries’ expansion as local projects address housing and infrastructure challenges. REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Developers of Burlington Square will open the south tower next month with a hotel & stores and will add apartments gradually this fall on the site once known as the Pit.
