- ➤ Registration is now open for the 2025 Vermont Nonprofit Summit at the DoubleTree in South Burlington, set for November 4. The event will bring together nonprofit professionals, community leaders, and advocates to hear keynote speaker Tom Bodett—along with more than 20 breakout sessions for collaboration. VermontBiz
- ➤ Lawson’s Finest Liquids is now accepting applications from Vermont nonprofits for its 2026 Sunshine Fund— which will honor 24 organizations with a two-week partnership in its Waitsfield taproom and full fund donations during that time. - ➤ Jay Peak Resort in northern Vermont has opened fall lodging packages for stays from August 8 to October 12 that include discounted rates and a complimentary ride on Vermont’s only Aerial Tram offering broad autumn views of the Northeast Kingdom. - ➤ Maximilian Kissel scored the game-winning goal in stoppage time as Vermont Green FC defeated Ballard FC 2—1 in the USL League Two final at Virtue Field on Aug 2, completing an undefeated season.
