- ➤ On Saturday, Colchester Police — assisted by Burlington Police, Fire Departments and Colchester Technical Rescue — removed a dead body found near the Winooski River by the Intervale Center and took it to the chief medical examiner's office where an autopsy will determine its identity, cause and manner of death.
