Cyclists finished the final day of a three-day ride in South Hero on Saturday to raise funds for The Seeing Eye, which trains guide dogs to help people who are blind.

Founder Jim Freiss said the ride — which honors his late brother’s partnership with his guide dog Hero — aims to expand support for the program.

A ribbon cutting on Saturday at the Ethan Allen Homestead marked the completion of the nearly 10-mile Burlington Wildways Trail that links the Winooski River, Ethan Allen Park, and other natural spots.
