- ➤ BETA Technologies, an electric aerospace company based in South Burlington, launched its initial public offering of 25 million Class A shares between $27 and $33 per share on October 15 — a sale that could raise up to $825 million — with Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs leading the offering and plans to list on the NYSE under the ticker BETA. - ➤ Environmental groups allege that Vorsteveld Farm in Addison County illegally discharged toxic pesticides into a tributary of Lake Champlain—violating the Clean Water Act. - ➤ Vermont’s Clean Water Board is inviting residents to offer their views on the draft Clean Water Budget that plans to spend about $45 million to protect our water sources until November 16 — feedback which will guide the board's final recommendation in December.
