- ➤ At least 13 dogs from Vermont traveled to Philadelphia for the National Dog Show, which aired Nov. 27, but only winners on Saturday were shown on TV—Gloria from Bennington and Olive from Pownal were among the Best in Breed winners, with Gloria set to compete at Westminster in December. NBC5
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The South Burlington School Board and the South Burlington Educators’ Association ratified a new teachers’ contract that retroactively covers July 1 through June 30 for teachers and a similar contract for support staff, with teachers receiving a 4.25% raise for the first two years and an inflation-based increase in the third year—support staff get a 5.25% raise for the first year with an inflation adjustment in the second.
