EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Lawmakers in Montpelier passed S.206 in the Senate Thursday to require individual licensure for child care staff, setting new training standards ahead of a transitional period starting in 2028. Providers say the measure may heighten hiring challenges even as it aims to improve quality and create a clearer career path. VTDigger
- ➤ Community College of Vermont saw enrollment jump by 5% this spring, with nearly 5,000 students using more online classes and remote advising. The college will leave its Springfield and Morrisville sites as it shifts to a new campus model. Burlington Free Press
