HEALTH NEWS

  • Free Narcan is now available at Grand Isle town offices to help combat drug overdoses (the drop box, funded by an opioid settlement, will later move to the town library).  NBC5
  • Peter Calabresi at UVM completed a five-year study published in Nature Neuroscience that found a process called parthanatos may be blocked by drugs to slow progressive multiple sclerosis (MS). His team will conduct further tests and trials to develop new treatments.  Vermont Public
