  • Two Burlington residents filed an appeal with the Vermont Supreme Court to challenge the 2023 charter change that allowed all residents to vote in local elections (this change lets noncitizens vote in issues like local school funding) after a Superior Court judge dismissed a related lawsuit; a date for oral arguments is expected in coming weeks.  NBC5
