- ➤ Despacito, a vegan restaurant with Puerto Rican influence (located at North Winooski Avenue and Archibald Street) announced on May 23 that it is closing and is offering its kitchen equipment and lease for $40,000. The restaurant will hold an open house today and will offer additional viewing days after Memorial Day. Burlington Free Press

- ➤ The annual M and T Bank Vermont City Marathon returns this Sunday and will draw over 5,000 runners plus thousands of spectators into downtown Burlington — local businesses are preparing by opening early and adjusting services to handle the extra crowd. NBC5
