- ➤ Thousands of runners filled Burlington’s streets for the annual M&T Vermont City Marathon and Relay while local supporters cheered them on from Pine Street to the New North End. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Friday, the Vermont State Senate advanced H.472—a bill to officially recognize early childhood educators as professionals—making Vermont the first state to set a common system for early education qualifications. - ➤ On Friday, Governor Phil Scott said he could not accept the current House or Senate education bills because they do not lower costs, cut administrative overhead, or create more student opportunities.
