- ➤ On September 5, Burlington City Arts unveiled the 8-by-20-foot 'Let It Be: A Cautionary Tale of the Pine Street Barge Canal' mural created in one month by eight student artists working with professional muralists from Juniper Creative Arts. - ➤ Gasoline prices in Burlington averaged $3.26 per gallon today—showing a slight drop of 1.1 cents from last week with station prices ranging from $3.09 to $3.35. Perkins will lead efforts to involve local youth of color and make services more accessible as her appointment is confirmed by City Council on Sept. 29 while interim director Christian Berry continues in the role.
