- ➤ FranklinWH Energy Storage Inc joined Vermont Electric Co-op’s Flexible Load battery storage program last week +as one of the first approved manufacturers+ to offer improved home energy storage options. - ➤ The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department said deer season will begin tomorrow, Nov. 15, and run through Nov. 30. Hunters may take one legal buck per season based on Wildlife Management Unit rules — they must report their deer in person on November 15 or 16. VermontBiz

- ➤ A U.S. Drought Monitor report released at 11:38 a.m. on November 13 shows that Burlington and the Champlain Valley are officially out of drought—though they remain abnormally dry. - ➤ The Chittenden Solid Waste District broke ground on a new $38 million Materials Recycling Facility in Williston — the 74,000 square foot plant is designed to use modern technology to boost capacity, reduce environmental impact, and keep recycling affordable.
