- ➤ Five Vermont villages have been chosen for historic building projects through the Village Trust Initiative — a program led by the Preservation Trust of Vermont with support from the Vermont Council on Rural Development and Vermont Community Foundation. - ➤ The Young Writers Project published the entry 'Charcoal' by 17 year old Gretchen Wertlieb of South Burlington with a photo titled 'Fallen' by 14 year old Isla Segal from Woodstock. - ➤ The Burlington Discover Jazz Festival will run from June 3-7, 2026 as curator Jason Moran—a celebrated pianist and MacArthur Fellow—selects the lineup for its 43rd annual event. - ➤ More than 60 health care leaders met at Rutland Regional Medical Center to plan new education pathways for nurses and technicians to work in Vermont.
